I first developed a love for photography when my parents bought their first DSLR back when I was in elementary school. (It was a Canon EOS 20D, for those interested. I still have it today!) Even though it was technically my parents' camera, I quickly took the role as my family's primary photographer, often taking several hundred photos any time we went out hiking.
Now, I have turned my former hobby into a second job. My friend John (of johnkellyphotos.com) got me back into photography in college, and I have been challenging myself to grow as a photographer ever since.
I am currently am based out of Kansas City where I live with my wonderful wife (and frequent photography assistant) Alyssa. I often work as a race photographer, shooting everything from standard 5Ks to grueling mud runs. I also offer portrait sessions. In any additional free time I can find, I am outside shooting wildlife and landscapes.
